Jessica Rodriguez
Primary Teacher

My teaching career started in the US over 10 years ago in my hometown of San Antonio, Texas and has taken me through international schools across Belgium, Turkey and now the UK. Hailing from a mixed Spanish, Italian and Latin American descent and having worked across multiple continents, I have seen first-hand the transformative power of a holistic, multicultural environment on the hundreds of students I’ve taught.

I first earned my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Texas, which has equipped me to teach all subjects and disciplines from Early Childhood through 6. Within my Master’s program, I focused on literacy coaching and ESL learning that opened doors to classrooms in Antwerp and Ankara later in my teaching career.

A key pillar of my approach is the International Baccalaureate (IB) program, which emphasizes outcomes-led teaching and inquiry-driven learning and is a framework I incorporate in my own consulting practice. I also support students within the Cambridge and UK National curriculum.

Rengin Melis Soydas
Teacher of English, Business Studies, Economics and Global Perspectives

My name is Rengin and I’m an Australian – Turkish native English teacher. I was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia and graduated from RMIT University with a Bachelor of International Business, majoring in Global Marketing. I later went on to complete my TESOL English Teaching certification through Global Leadership College. With an entrepreneurial spirit, I was fortunate enough to combine my business, marketing and teaching skills into a passionate business model where I set up my own ESL teaching brand which continues to operate globally in an online format. I have always continued to develop myself and try to keep updated with technology; adding to my skills, recently gaining an online facilitator badge through Curio’s online education program based in Australia – providing me much advanced online education knowledge. I’ve had extensive experience in Turkey and Europe teaching both pre-school and high school learners English as their second language as well as science, math and history. I believe in the magical power of teaching as an infinite art carrying over through generations.

Nikita Bhulla
Teacher of English, Global Perspectives and Sociology

My name is Nikita. I was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa, and I graduated from Pearson Institute of Higher Education with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and English. I also obtained my TEFL certificate through The TEFL Academy. My previous experience attests to my love for teaching; I was a tutor for almost three years and a junior ABA therapist for a year. I was exposed to different cultures and different learning methods; music being one of them, hence I started learning to play the guitar. I am passionate about improving the lives of others by teaching and I look forward to creating exciting and engaging lessons to motivate students and help them learn effectively. I stand by the wise words of Robin Williams “I always thought the idea of education was to learn to think for yourself.”
