My name is Sophie, COA International’s Business Teacher. I hold a PGCE from Cumbria University, UK; a Master’s degree in International Business Management from Newcastle Business School, UK, and a second Master’s and PhD in Business Management from the University of Bradford, UK.

I have been teaching in international and bilingual schools in Greece for over 10 years before moving full-time into online education with COA International. I am also passionate about advocating for online education as a successful alternative to brick-and-mortar schools. Children should be free to choose how they want to go to school. COA International’s flexible virtual learning model allows for personalised learning with individualised support, which is one of the favourite parts of my job. This ethos inspired me to investigate how to raise learners’ achievement in online learning environments as part of my PGCE. I am committed to fostering growth in critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and self-directed learning in our COA International students.
