At COA International, we are fully committed to helping young people around the world get a top-quality education. As an independent online programme, we aim to give children world-class instruction that will prepare them for a productive, rich, fulfilling future.

In this new era when students, their families, and educators alike are searching for options for learning offered at a distance, COA International makes quality education from home possible.

COA International offers a variety of routes for learners with a wide range of abilities.

If English is a student’s second language, COA International offers an Intensive English programme that will guide them every step of the way from having almost zero English to fluency in reading, writing, speaking, and listening.

Each stage
  1. Cambridge Primary
  2. Cambridge Lower Secondary
  3. Cambridge Upper Secondary
  4. Cambridge Advanced

builds on the learner’s development from the previous one, but can also be offered separately in the case of students who do not join the COA International at the beginning of this pathway.

Cambridge Primary launches young learners on a path  toward a life-long love of learning in a supportive, encouraging environment. The program is aimed at children who are typically aged 7-11, and helps them to develop knowledge and skills in a flexible curriculum covering 9 subjects, with Maths, Science and English as the centrepiece. Young learners develop confidence by achieving clear objectives and demonstrate their progress in periodic assessments that are used to adjust their focus moving forward, keeping them engaged in material that is not only beneficial but exciting as well.

Lower Secondary

Cambridge Lower Secondary is where students who are typically in the 11-14 age range begin to expand their learning to a broader palette, applying the building blocks they’ve mastered in Cambridge Primary to more challenging pursuits. The curriculum is flexible and adaptable to a wide variety of cultural contexts, branching out further from core studies to encompass more independent, thought-provoking topics while still developing a vital knowledge base and skills. Some examples of the bigger concepts that may be in the curriculum include classes on Global Perspectives, Art and Design, and Digital Literacy.

In Cambridge Upper Secondary, young learners who are typically aged 14-16 continue broadening and deepening their knowledge base. While the tools students learn in Cambridge Lower Secondary are expanded upon here, it isn’t necessary that students complete that program first. Classes are built around exposing the student to a broad array of subjects that focus on enquiry and problem-solving, as well as preparing them to sit the IGCSE. Students are given some leeway in deciding how to structure their curricula, and our instructors and staff will work with them to ensure that they will be ready not only to sit their exam, but also face the next educational challenges in their schooling.

Cambridge Advanced is open to students who are typically aged 16 to 19 and eager to gain advanced learning to help them pursue university and higher education. Cambridge Upper Secondary is not a prerequisite, but the critical thinking skills students have learned in Cambridge Upper Secondary are expanded still further in Cambridge Advanced. Students are encouraged to develop the ability to pursue independent study, vital to a successful university career, in self-designed curricula that can prepare the student for any university-level course of study.

Cambridge Qualifications are recognised by universities around the world, including Ivy League universities in the US and all universities in the UK.

And best of all, COA International offers a week of real-world learning in the UK. This optional week gives students a great opportunity to meet their teachers in person for real-world classes. They’ll get to develop their communication skills, work on their group study abilities, and make new friends from around the world – friends that can last a lifetime.

The COA International’s residential school programme is also a great confidence booster and a wonderful way for students to connect across cultural barriers in a safe, supervised, educational environment.
