Vladimir Krasniakov | Director and Founder of COA International
I want to welcome you to our Online Academy!
As a team of qualified educators and the top achievers in our respective fields, grounded in modern and tested teaching methods, we created a supportive and relaxed virtual environment which helps to promote the positive learning experience. All our students share this online ecosystem with an emphasis on care, respect and responsibility.
My journey into teaching philosophy started when I was a student myself. It has been fascinating to read and investigate the writings of scholars concerned with the fundamental principles of learning. Using this knowledge, I started to help children at my school in their studies, and I contributed to the delivery of teaching and tutorials by providing personal academic support and mentoring for groups of students. I continued to do so throughout my University years.
I was always interested in sciences and the Degree of Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Physics, which I have been granted by the University, made possible for me to teach others and share this fascinating knowledge with my students.
My first real teaching position as a Physics teacher was at the Greenfields School where I began to expand my knowledge by concurrently studying at the University of Buckingham for Postgraduate Qualification in Education and working through the Teachers’ Standards.
Working alongside many teachers and collaborating with other schools made me realise that underachieving students and overfilled classrooms are today all too common. I recognised that the cookie-cutter, assembly-line approach to education is badly in need of an update – hence COA International was born, with the simple aim of helping young people around the world get a top-quality education. I always intended to create a school which offers a safe, friendly, and supportive environment; a school where children will be given not only the skills and knowledge needed to pass qualifications but also entire approaches to learning that will serve them throughout their lives.
As well as overseeing the academy’s operations and curricula, I also continue teaching Physics to a diverse array of our students of varying ages and abilities. In my lessons, I enjoy discussing things like light, motion, gravity, and viscosity, and doing experiments like dropping different sized balls to see which one lands first.
Outside of COA International, I enjoy keeping fit and active, reading books and spending time with my family. I am also a magician! I enjoy entertaining my friends with sleight-of-hand tricks using cards, balls, ropes, flowers and fire.
I am always happy to hear from you. If you have any questions, suggestions, ideas or just want to say hello, I’d love for you to get in touch.
